About

When I got laid off from my job after 20 years of service, I realized that I needed to find a different way to earn a living. I spent many days considering my options and decided that real estate would be a good choice. My back was against the wall. I had no choice; I had to do something. Savings were running out fast, and there were no new prospects to find a new job anytime soon.

I always knew that I wanted to help people. Help them buy their first home and have a meaningful impact on their lives. I knew I could make it work. But the thought of talking to people in person for a living scared me. Because by nature, I am a shy person who avoided talking to people and has never worked in sales before.

One day I put my fears aside. I decided to tell my wife that I would enroll in the real estate course and become a licensed realtor. I remember that conversation like it was yesterday.. She was very concerned for me. She said, you may not make it. Youve never sold a thing in your life, and you avoid talking to people.” She was right. Id have to overcome my fears. But I knew selling is a skill, and like any other skill, I could learn it.

After a few more weeks of thinking about it, I decided to reach out to a few realtors that I knew. After meeting with them, I sensed they all ran different business models. They were successful in their own niche. They specialized in different areas of the market. They were passionate about the service they provided. I wanted to do the same.

Realtors have a meaningful impact on peoples lives. For the first time in 20 years, I knew what my path was, regardless of the 95% failure rate in the industry. I was very excited and determined to succeed. That was over five years ago, and Ive never looked back.

Now I have the opportunity to live my dream as an entrepreneur. To align my values with my deep desire to help people.

I remember the change in our lifestyle. when we moved from a small 950 sqft  townhouse to a four bedroom 2230 sqft feet home. Each child having their own bedroom and not having to take turns to use the bathroom was a dream come true. I love being a realtor. To be a part of such a pivotal stage in the lives of my clients. Helping them sell their house and help them find a better place to raise their families. This means a great deal to me.
